Worked time = shift length − unpaid break. See calculation methodology
The shift length is the time between the start and the end, using “Ends next day” for overnight shifts. The unpaid break is then subtracted.
A break longer than the shift is an error. A break equal to the shift gives 0h 00m worked.
shift length = end − start (+ 24h with Ends next day)
worked time = shift length − unpaid breakNo. Only enter unpaid breaks. Paid breaks count as time worked.
Enter the start and end times and turn on “Ends next day”. For example, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute break is 7h 30m worked.
Yes. The worked time is then 0h 00m. A break longer than the shift is an error.
Work Hours totals one shift. The Time Card Calculator totals 7 or 14 days, with estimated overtime and optional gross pay.
